Research: The different colors of eyes

Hello! Dominique Gibson is back with another post. I thought that this post would be an interesting one considering I recently just did research on this the other day when I was trying to describe eye colors for my characters. I came across an article that I thought was very interesting and quite possibly a helpful guide when it came to describing some of the physical attributes that a character might have when it comes to their colorful vision on the page. Here is a brief overview of what the article talked about:

Blue eyes – Low level of pigment in the iris. Scientists believe that people with blue eyes are all related!

Hazel Eyes – A unique eye color that features different shades of colors. The most common color is brown and green.

Red Eyes – Very Little melanin in the iris. Represents the blood vessels in the eyes. These types of eyes are reflected in albinos (One of my characters in the book, Lex Stevenson, is an albino).

If you want more info on this article, There is a link to it here. Hint: You might want to save it as a bookmark just so you won’t lose it.

That’s all for now. See you soon.
