It’s a hard question to answer…

Which book’s world would be the absolute worst to live in?

I will admit that this is a good question to ask considering the books I have read and written. Lately, I have been taking an interest in fantasy books after being invested into contemporary and paranormal romance for so long. A part of me wants to go back to romance considering all of the fandom that has been happening lately in the fantasy space. Anyway, I think in the book world, I could not survive as a hybrid in my book world on the Island of Truson.

Why?

1) I wouldn’t be able to deal with the transformation itself. The transformation is so painful from human to animal that the chances of having to transform into their animal forms for a total of twelve hours before they have to transform back into their human forms again. I think I would want to die after that.

2) Another thing that happens in my book world is that they have powers. They use a special liquid called the Animan Three-Hundred. This requires them to alter their DNA so that they will be able to transform into a hybrid with supernatural powers. Their powers are controlled by their emotions. Since I am highly emotional human being, I would internally be destroying everything that comes into my path.

3) The final thing would be me not falling for temptation when it comes to not sleeping with the other hybrids in my clan. Some of the people are gorgeous in the other clans but one of the laws when it comes to my world is that you are not able to cross breed (meaning if I were a half-human, half-dolphin hybrid that I am forbidden to sleep with someone who is half-human, half-shark). But I will have to follow the rules eventually and will marry the person that’s in my clan.

4) Finally, I would have to say that the battles my character has to endure would be enough for me to say “I Quit”. The majority of my characters in the Truson S.E.T. Series has powers that can manipulate the weather, send people to their early grave through insects, and even give birth to swords that will kill you within seconds. I think I would value my life too much to go through that.

Now, the question goes back to the ones reading this post: Which book’s world would be the absolute worst to live in?
