Hello, Dominique Gibson back again with another update. This past Sunday, I took the risk and decided to enter not one but both of my books, An Orman’s Revenge and An Orman’s Fate into the RITA contest, the one and only national contest sponsored by the Romance Writers Of America. I have also entered the 2020 Booksellers Award sponsored by Greater Detroit RWA as well. I will be sure to keep you posted on any updates I may receive from these contests. See you soon.

Hello…Good afternoon everyone…Good evening if you live in another country. Dominique Gibson is back again and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who downloaded my latest book The Gibson Newsletter 2019: A Year in Review. As of yesterday and this morning (Saturday, December 21st, and Sunday December 22nd, 2019), the total free copies that were downloaded on Amazon was 827 downloads!!!! That’s big for me, that’s the biggest number of downloads I have ever seen!!!! I just want to give out a huge thank you for everyone who downloaded and read the book. The book ranked #1 and then #2 in publishing and books and #1 in the writing skills reference category (Amazon has since took the rankings down but that’s okay).
I’m still over the moon about this recent development and this just gives me the opportunity and motivation to continue to do what I do on a daily basis. I love you all and will continue to write and produce books that readers will love. Have a great day.

Hello, Dominique Gibson back again with another fascinating video I found on YouTube. It’s titled How Much Money do (Indie) authors make? This video was created by a woman name Bethany Atazadeh (Which is the same woman who created the video I posted earlier). Even though she admits in her videos that her math is terrible, the real purpose of this video is to provide a realistic look of how much self-published authors make on Amazon.
You can view the YouTube video here.
I will probably comment on this video this weekend as usual but for right now, you can view the video and tell me what you think.
Have a good night.

Hello everyone, Dominique Gibson is back again. So tonight, I just so happened to be browsing on YouTube (even though I should have been doing my homework which I will get around to doing it this weekend) and I just so happened to look at this video on a self-published author who had a terrible experience with an editor that she hired to edit her self-published novels. I wanted to share this so that people can comment on what they think about this situation (especially the writers out there who are either self-published or think about being published in general).
You can find the link to this Youtube video here.
I will post my thoughts about this by the end of the week. In the meantime, I would love to hear your thoughts on this. See you soon.
