Helpful Tips for Authors: Shout My Book

Hello! Dominique Gibson is back with yet another Helpful Tips for Authors article. Lately, I have been getting emails for quite a while now from people reaching out to me for book promotion opportunities when it comes to my books. As you guys may well know, I am currently in Mark Dawson’s Ads for Authors course, which talks about how to promote ads the right way for your book and other content. I will be sure to keep you updated on how that is going as well.

So, onto business. Like I stated earlier, I have been checking through my emails and I have been getting a few that offers book promotions for my latest books. One of those offers is called Shout My Book. This site is used as a promotional tool for authors to promote their work (whether it’s a children’s story, a novel, a novella, etc.) through their social media channels (Facebook and Twitter being the top social media tolls they use to promote your work). After looking at some of the reviews (Some of them were mixed I might add) for this website, I checked to see what kind of prices authors had to pay in order to have this promotion and the answer was surprising. On their website, they have stated the following:

STARTER BOOK PROMOTION is for authors who are new to the website and just wants to give it a test run OR for authors who are on a budget and doesn’t have enough money for other promotional sites like Written Word Media. The cost for this promotion is $14.99 and includes 21 promotional tweets, 1 tweet everyday for 21 days and reaches 485,000 plus readers daily.

BLASTER BOOK PROMOTION is for authors who are able to spend a little more in order to get more results but doesn’t want to spend over fifty dollars doing so. The cost of this promotion is $29.99 and includes 42 promotional tweets, and 2 tweets daily to post your work for 21 days.

The final (and most popular) promotion is the BOOSTER BOOK PROMOTION package. For $49.99, they will advertise your book with 84 promotional tweets by posting 4 tweets daily for 21 days.

If you would like more information when it comes to this website, click on the link above as well as below this post. So, that’s it for the Helpful Tips For Authors post. Please be sure to check back on my website for more updates and info on my work and in publishing altogether. See you soon!

My first love has always been writing since I was eight years old. After getting my Bachelor's Degree in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago and struggling for years trying to get published the traditional way, I decided that the only way to promote my work was to promote myself which is why I am self-publishing my paranormal romance The Truson S.E.T. Series.
