Hello! Dominique Gibson is here with a brand new post. Since I have a little time to chill out and relax today considering I officially had a *snow day* from my teaching job, I decided to share what I did to take advantage of my snow day:
- Worked on my fourth book in the Truson S.E.T. series. Considering my busy schedule of doing things for my day job, Taking a day off just to try and finish the first draft of my fourth book, A Phiman’s Betrayal, was a blessing to me. The joy of having to sit down and relax without having to worry about doing teaching duties for my job helped me out tremendously. It also reminded me that I needed to get back to what I truly loved doing in the first place: writing.
2. Got a head start on my homework for my new class. I was able to get a head start on my new assignment for my online class at SNHU. Hopefully, when I have more time, I will be able to post updates on what I currently did this past semester since it talked about engaging online students when you are teaching an online course.
3. Post stuff and respond to my Twitter page. It wasn’t too bad to add in a few posts in addition to responding to other people Twitter feed about publishing and/or life in general. It passed the time between me working on my book and getting half of my homework done. Awesome!
That’s it. That’s all I have for now. Now, I turn it over to you: How did you spend your day today?
