Hello! Dominique Gibson is back with another post. As I try to finish both of my projects and have a huge push to publish my work out by the end of this year or early next year (depending on how slow or how fast my editor will be when it comes to their schedules, feedback, etc.). The time for me to look for an editor is quickly approaching and I decided that I need to get a move on when it comes to looking for an editor to go over my work. One of those editors I have found through Instagram is called EJL editing services.
I was able to check out their services the other day and I must say that their prices seem a lot cheaper than most of the other editors I have come across. For example, they give out a flat rate of 0.0085 cents a word for developmental editing. Once I saw the flat rate, I immediately calculated it based on my average word count when it comes to book series (which is usually between 60,000 and 65,000 words). It came out to be a flat rate of five hundred and ten dollars (Don’t quote me on it though, I was never good with math so there might be ways where I could be making a mistake).
I have added this service to my list of editors I will be contacting in the near future. If you want more information about their services, you can click on the link down below for more information.
That’s all for now. See you soon.
Dominique Gibson
