My latest adventure: The Bunmens

Cover for Kindle Vella

Hello, Dominique Gibson is back with a huge announcement. I had this idea for a little while as I heard that Amazon was releasing a new platform called Kindle Vella. If you want more information about it, I have included a short video about Kindle Vella above this post if you are interested in learning more about it. Just below the video is the cover I am using for my first story on Kindle Vella called The Bunmens: A Truson S.E.T. Story. So far, I have posted the first TWO episodes that will be available for free on Kindle Vella once it’s released. I am currently working on Episode four right now and my hope is that I will be able to make it available for release on the Kindle Vella app.

Differences between The Bunmens: A Truson S.E.T. Story and the Truson S.E.T. books:

The story is in first person. Unlike my Truson S.E.T. books where it’s mostly told from both the hero and heroine’s point of view (third person), I have decided to flex my writing muscles by writing in first person from the heroine’s perspective instead. In the future, if things go well when it comes to the responses I get from this story, I will be able to write another story from the hero’s point of view.

Editing. The most editing I have done to this piece so far has been some light editing. I haven’t done a lot of developmental editing because I want to see what the readers think about the story itself. Based on the responses I get, I will be able to make changes to the story as I go along.

Turning it into a book? Based on the votes of the readers and the responses I get, if it becomes successful, I will definitely think about turning it into a book. This is something that will always stay in the back of my mind as I continue to write these episodes for Kindle Vella.

That’s all for now. See you soon.

Dominique Gibson

Dominique Gibson knew she wanted to be a writer ever since she sat down at her plastic table and wrote her first book out of sheer boredom at eight years old. Years later, she decided to go get her Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia College Chicago. She is obtaining her master’s degree in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. When not writing, she is busy teaching two year olds at a daycare center in Skokie, IL. My first love has always been writing since I was eight years old. After getting my Bachelor's Degree in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago and struggling for years trying to get published the traditional way, I decided that the only way to promote my work was to promote myself which is why I am self-publishing my paranormal romance The Truson S.E.T. Series.
